Label Demands
Label demands vary based on the performer and what was expected from them.In Mike Oldfield's cover of the William Tell Overture the emphasis is placed on musician ship and the performer abilities of Mike Oldfield. This is also used as he is playing an instrumental and therefore no lead singer to focus on.
In Mike Oldfield's Moonlight Shadow the focus is taken from Oldfield and placed Maggie Reilly as she is singing the song. Therefore the label advertises the sing as a standard music video. This is reflected in his other collaborations with Jon Anderson and Bonnie Tyler. However in a instrumental music video the focus is placed on the musicians rather than the singer.
