Evaluation Question 3

What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

 When researching our target audience we both looked into fans of neo-psychedelia and what appealed to the culture during the 1960s. For this research we looked at historical footage to see what cloths were worn,how people acted and where they would go.

 We also looked at the variety of music performances from the era.

Therefore we had established that our audience had a key fashion that was central to the music. And as a result we must emulate it.

Audience feedback is very important in any form product therefore we showed the products to a variety of people from both our target audience and others groups of people.This allowed us to both build on feedback and widen our appeal. When collecting feedback we made questionnaires and asked people to contribute videos explaining their opinions. This is what we received;

Based on the feedback we decided to increase the role of the cartoon characters which originally appeared on the digipak, placing them in both the website and -- through stop motion -- in the music video. We also emphasised the use of colour through filters in the music video, and used the colourful digipak design in the website background. Lending to the post-modern style we attempted to cultivate with the integration of live-action and animation to create a surrealist aesthetic style.
